Founder’s Journey
Rooted in Culture, Driven by Experience.
The heart of L’ajance lies in the founder’s rich personal and professional journey. Born in Ghana and raised in Senegal, our founder’s early life was a tapestry of diverse cultural experiences. These formative years, spent learning Wolof, French, Arabic, and later English, Twi, and Ga, laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for cultural understanding and service.
The founder’s career began in 1996 as a pharmacy assistant, followed by a stint as a bank clerk, and eventually a 20-year tenure in the aviation industry. From ticketing to operations management, the founder gained extensive experience across all facets of aviation, with a particular focus on aviation security. This journey not only honed the founder’s skills in managing complex operations and ensuring customer satisfaction but also instilled a deep appreciation for the intricacies of service excellence.
The expertise and insights gained from the aviation industry have been instrumental in shaping L’ajance’s approach to hospitality and education. Our founder’s ability to manage large teams, oversee multifaceted operations, and maintain high standards of service quality is now translated into our commitment to delivering exceptional cultural and culinary experiences.
